A life-long Floridian, Debbie's work is influenced by the colors and textures that surround her. Though she studied art in high school and college, she graduated with a degree in Psychology from the University of Florida. For many years she helped develop an appreciation of the arts in her children through projects and visits to museums. After returning to study art under the direction of Armando Rivera and Pia DeBiedma, she has shown her work in shows throughout Florida and has paintings in private collections in Florida, Texas and Tennessee. Her passion is contemporary portraits.

An avid traveler, Debbie has lived in California and visited the Eastern coastline of the United States. Her travels to England, Eastern Europe and Italy have deepened her appreciation for the arts and is evident in her recent work.
